Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Waynesburg University to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Learners in this program/experience… : · Differentiate and understand the functional areas of sport management · Identify and describe the managerial functions within sport management · Analyze the historical, sociological, cultural and psychological implications of sport and sport administration · Evaluate the ethical issues within the sport industry · Critically examine the economic impact of sports on regional and local economies · Survey current trends, issues and research in sport management Understand the current employment environment and the career options available in sport management What can our learners do for your company? Learners in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your marketing needs and create and execute a social media marketing campaign.
