Welcome to Finances UniReceipt Inc.! We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for talented students to contribute to our innovative project, UniReceipt MVP! The main goal for the project is Backend development for our first version of the UniReceipt application, which automatically stocks receipts and categorizes user expenses. The application should be easily accessible and compatible with iOS and Android systems. It will serve as our MVP (minimum viable product) which will be presented to future investors and used to gather user feedback to develop our full application. We want students to not only understand the significance of their contributions but also feel confident that the project is manageable within a realistic timeframe of 60 hours, spread over 2-8 weeks. This project serves as a base for future development! This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Understanding the company's mission and objectives. - Back-end development for our application to ensure smooth receipt processing and categorization, secured user authentication, and optimal user data management. - Testing the strategies for reliability and efficiency. - Implementing security measures to protect user data. Students will work in a team and will acquire important collaboration skills throughout the project.

Outreach Campaign for building partnerships
As we are preparing to launch our product, one crucial aspect that will help us benefit from financial support from investors is building potential future partnerships through letters of intent. The main goal of the project is to better understand our target B2B market to create an outreach campaign attracting potential partners. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching and identifying potential partners for Finances UniReceipt Inc. - Developing a strategy for reaching out to potential partners, obtaining letters of intent, and motivating them to provide feedback on the company - Creating a compelling message and materials to present to potential partners. - Reaching out to potential partners and obtaining letters of intent. - Analyzing the results of the outreach campaign and making recommendations for future campaigns. *Future partners should include brick-and-mortar stores that are open to adopting our receipt-generating device.
Environmental Impact Research & Development
Our company values sustainability and is looking to shift the way we currently make and use receipts. We are looking for assistance in researching the environmental impact of our proposed alternative and the potential added benefits it offers compared to current alternatives. Research new and more ecologically ways to store digital receipts in an application and ways to manufacture microprocessors, which can include different storing alternatives, receipt formats, and access routes. Create recommendations on the best ways to use our product to reduce digital pollution. Analyzing ways to reduce our company's carbon footprint by developing our product more sustainably. The following outlines criteria we hope to meet with our app development: A more sustainable alternative to paper and email receipt Receipt storage aimed to maximize efficiency and easy access while reducing digital pollution A more sustainable chain of production and better alternatives for hardware components An attractive solution to customers An attractive solution, easy to use by any business (retail, restaurants...)
Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our startup company would like to explore designing a prototype for a native mobile application. We have designed a mockup with the desired features and are looking for someone to optimize UI/UX to capture more user activity. Tasks may include: Conducting background research on similar applications. Using our Mockup as a base and researching how to optimize it. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android. Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this. *Showcasing work is encouraged, any learners wishing to disclose information on the content of this project should priorly discuss it with us unless such information is publicly available.
