Social Media Strategy
Positions available: two Our team is looking for a social media marketing wizard who can help us drive more traffic and grow our brand. The primary project requirements include: 1. An analysis to determine relevant social media channels for our organization 2. A strategy document to outline: Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share 3. Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site 4. A strategy for executing content that maximizes engagement and increasing followers 5. Working with tools and programs such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIN, Google We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to achieve: More engagement from our communityCreate a consistent brand presence to be able to engage with our audience on a timely and frequent basis This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.
Brand Marketing
Positions available: 3 ( in teams or individually) We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We need help from a student to help us create marketing pieces about our software applications that speak about our vision, values. The overall goal is to publish the marketing pieces which could be videos or ads, that will target potential clients through social media channels. They should incorporate the proper keywords and SEO to ensure that we are easy to find online. To accomplish this, we expect the student will: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. A student with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project. We're happy to work with 1-3 students and they are able to work in teams (240 hours).
Digital Content Creation for 1000towns.ca
Number of individual students required: 15 students from all Canadian Provinces and Territories 1000towns.ca website was created three years ago. We launched >70 unique pages Top Places to Visit in your Town. We would like students to help us with creating content about towns in all provinces/territories that are aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. You can check existing pages on 1000towns.ca to clarify our formats. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Choose 5-10 towns they are interested Choose the most interesting attractions for each town Write a short description of each attraction 'Communicate with local communities asking for feedback and ideas Assist with social media to promote 1000 Towns Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization. If you like the sound of our culture and enjoyment of travelling off-the-beaten-path and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. A student with excellent writing skills and an interest in local travelling would be the ideal candidate for this project.
HR Onboarding Specialist
Positions available: 1 In this role, you will act as an onboarding specialist, and will be working alongside the Director, HR and HR Generalist. You will be on a mission to discover what an 11/10 onboarding experience looks like for a new hire. By the end of this Riipen project, you will have curated, organized, streamlined, and overseen the entire onboarding process for NexJ new hires. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Audit and evaluate our current onboarding process Research HRM best practices Develop an engaging and effective remote onboarding experience, based on best practices and our organizational needs Build out new training & development initiatives via learning paths in Udemy Assist with employee relations by brainstorming innovative and engaging remote employee events Review, understand and lead the transfer of NexJ University technical onboarding/training to Udemy for a seamless onboarding experience
