Website Analysis/UX Experience

Positions available: One to two individual students We are completing a new website for our organization. We aren’t sure how effective it will be. We would like to work with students to analyze and improve our website from the user experience perspective. We would like to ensure our website is user friendly and leads to purchases. We are also interested in whether users have a positive experience on our site and what improvements students might recommend. We have considered adding ecommerce to allow clients to purchase directly from our website and would love to gain insights from the students as to whether or not this makes sense for us. Industry, student, and faculty perspectives are very welcomed and we are also looking for whether or not creating some virtual service delivery platform on our website makes sense. We would LOVE to get some help in these areas for our small, woman owned Appalachian Ohio based business.

UX/UI Design

Put yourself in the shoes of a user experience designer working for our company, and give this page a complete refresh. If you were redesigning this page to increase conversion rates, visual appeal, clarity, and customer delight - what would you change? This can include adding or removing elements from the page, adding interactive or animated features, changing the customer journey from this page, and/or completely redesigning the look and feel. Outcomes Your challenge submission can be an interactive mockup, flat wireframes, a functional website, a photoshop file - whatever gets your vision across. Please feel free to be creative and depart from the design of the rest of the site if you choose, but submissions that take into consideration our branding will be assessed more favourably.

SEO & Social Media Marketing

Positions available: 2-3 students, individually or in a team For both DEALROCKiT and our new startup company, STARTUP ROCKiT, we would like the following from our student teammates: (1) either revamp or set up new social media pages, (2) provide proper SEO/key words and execution for both websites and (3) develop/set up our social media marketing campaign. All links, resources and files will be at your full disposal + our CEO & Founder will be part of the process and your 1 on 1/group learning experience as well. At both DEALROCKiT and STARTUP ROCKiT we believe in creating a win-win for all and giving you ownership of the project. You will be treated as a full member of our team. Positions available: 3 Categories Website Development Details We have a simple WordPress website using Divi and would like to have our website reworked for our organization. Our goal is that we provide an excellent user experience, with easy-to-follow steps and that our branding is consistent throughout the website. We would like students to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of our website to identify ways to improve the user journey, incentivize our desired outcomes, and increase user satisfaction as well as develop a new and improved website.
