I am an energetic and motivated Environmental and Urban Sustainability student at Toronto Metropolitan University in search of new opportunities to develop professionally. I am friendly, reliable, hardworking, and can determine what needs to be done to keep a workplace running efficiently. My experience in call center fundraising has helped me acquire great communication skills and supported my ability to work independently and engage well with teams. My hospitality experience has added to my confidence and ability to handle situations of conflict in a professional manner. This is a great opportunity to grow a comprehensive portfolio of work showcasing experience in crafting campaign strategies and executing creative content. You will gain experience building a portfolio in a global impact topic. The scope of the project includes: Define 2-3 new Instagram content campaign templates and create content collateral that fits each campaign; add content to existing campaigns Create promotional content Understory’s upcoming fall events including our Startup Showcases and Sustainable Fashion Week Atlanta Attend Understory’s virtual events (when possible) and support production and social media presence during event. Research and execute one way to increase interaction with followers on Instagram Desired qualities and skills include: Interest in changing the world, particularly a passion for sustainability and innovation Understanding of the major social channels - IG, Twitter, and LinkedIn Experience with Canva (or willingness to learn) Self-starter that likes to tackle challenges in driving impact Creative and innovative mindset, with a willingness to try new things Excellent communicator both with internal and external stakeholders This is a part-time, virtual internship with a flexible schedule. The internship is unpaid and can be used for course credit.

YOUTH ON CLIMATE - SUSTAINABILITY - ENVIRONMENT: JOIN OUR PLANET GREEN TEAM at www.Decarbonized.org Please join us as we are a team of innovators and alliance builders working with students first nations, educators and scientists researching conservation solutions and deploying action plans. Projects scope from discovery on oceans to forests, to human rights and social justice, expanding access of “tech for good” and AI. Mapping using ArcGIS for forest biodiversity conservation project. After COP26 in Glasgow, we are even more clear there is an urgent need for the voices of youth and joint commitments onmaking this Climate movement stronger. We have ongoing environmental ESG UNSDG based 80 hour projects, that help to mentor students and build their essential career skills. CURRENT PROJECT ACTIONS: UNSDG Alliance building, developing campaigns, market research, digital content, interviewing multi-stakeholders, collaborating on impact projects and making change happen.
