Main Goal:
The objective of this project is to develop compelling grant applications to secure funding for CCBI’s community-focused initiatives. Students will research potential funding sources, draft grant proposals, and refine application strategies.
Deliverables:
- Identify and evaluate at least three potential grant opportunities aligned with CCBI’s mission.
- Draft and refine one or more grant applications.
- Create a template for future grant applications to streamline the process.
Final Deliverables:
- A completed grant application ready for submission.
- A report summarizing grant opportunities, key application strategies, and a reusable grant writing template.

Mentorship & Support:

About the company
Founded in January 2024, CCBI is a budding social enterprise led by professionals from the communities we serve. Building its reputation in tax and accounting services for individuals, nonprofits and charities while advancing economic well-being within underrepresented 2SLGBTQ+ communities through its programming. Our programs enhance financial literacy, economic resilience, and access to essential financial services within grassroots 2SLGBTQ+ networks.
While our core expertise is in taxation, accounting, and financial management, we go beyond traditional financial services by prioritizing education, mentorship, and professional development. Through training and advisory support, we equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills they need to build financial stability.
