This semester MBA-level students working in groups of 5 to 7 will apply their knowledge in digital marketing to help your organization develop a digital marketing campaign, develop a strategic digital marketing plan, or solve a current digital marketing challenge. Students explore proven practical examples of strategy selection, implementation, and management, and how competitive advantage is created and leveraged over time and distance in the context of rapidly evolving technologies and practice.

Our capstone course features a strong analytical, applied, and experiential orientation, where students work in teams of 4-6 to tackle real-world business challenges or opportunities. Our comprehensive process includes: Current Business Analysis : Thorough evaluation of your business's current state. Problem/Opportunity Identification : Pinpointing key areas for improvement or growth. In-Depth Research : Conducting relevant research to support recommendations. Strategic Solutions & Implementation Plan : Developing actionable strategies with a clear plan for implementation. Budget : Providing a detailed budget aligned with proposed strategies. Risk Identification & Mitigation : Identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies. We welcome projects from Canadian businesses of all sizes. However, solo-preneur enterprises may not provide the necessary scope for these comprehensive projects. Students will deliver integrated marketing communication plans and performance evaluation frameworks by applying their knowledge of segmentation, targeting, positioning, and the marketing mix. This collaboration offers companies fresh insights and innovative approaches to enhance their market presence. We are seeking collaborations with businesses that: currently have 5 or more employees on staff are actively in business (not planning on launching) have an annual turn over of $200,000+ ideally looking to offer internship, coop, and employment opportunities after the Experience concludes
