Many organization face the challenges of developing information into knowledge, and then converting that intelligence into actionable decisions. Organizations demand the interdisciplinary skills of professionals that can find insights through data, and are capable of telling stories about data that can assist decision makers across various business divisions. More importantly, students will be able to create a narrative on how advanced analytical techniques can be used to provide actionable business solutions. Your company can be part of a project by accepting to assign a task to a multidisciplinary team of students for a term of 12 weeks including 80h of work per student.

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from George Brown College to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this digital media marketing program can analyze your organization's digital channels, create customer personas that match your target audience, create the seamless buyer journey to maximize the sales of your products/services and optimize the user experience of your existing/potential customers.
Data-Driven Business Decision Solutions (Summer 2025)

This experience is designed for learners who are developing skills in data analysis and business decision-making. Participants are capable of analyzing real-world data sets and providing actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. Through client interaction and feedback, learners will refine their ability to translate data into meaningful business recommendations. This experience allows learners to apply their analytical skills to real-world projects, enhancing their professional portfolio.
George Brown College Health Informatics Internship Program 25

Students will work in teams of 1-4 and spend 240 hours per student to understand and tackle the problem of your choosing. Students will provide a document and presentation summarizing their findings as well as provide knowledge transfer to your organization. In terms of the students' interests in placements, they are looking for opportunities in product support, project coordinator, business analyst (gathering requirements, workflow design, and improvement), QA tester, training users in HIT, and privacy analyst. They are open to other opportunities as well.
