The SAIT School of Business BBA Practicum benefits the Calgary business community. Our learners can help your staff at peak periods or during leaves of absence, and provide fresh insight into an organization. Students are available for a 4, 8 or 12-month work terms (virtual or in-person) for September, January and May starts. We are currently recruiting for our May start.

Undergraduate students who are in their fourth year of the Bachelor of Business Administration program, may choose to participate in this program. Students have the opportunity to apply classroom concepts to the challenges of business life as they gain valuable, relevant work experience as a practicum student within your organization

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Practicum positions must offer remuneration to the student (e.g. salary, honorarium). It must be a minimum of 450 hours completed throughout the first 4 months of employment.

Follow up email with the Work Integrated Learning Coordinator to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope in an appropriate fit for the internship.

The placement host will interview eligible students

As this is a paid practicum please give the hourly rate available to students completing your project. Typical practicum wages are between $15-$25 CAD per hour.
