Virtual Software Developer: Create a Dashboard for our blueButler SQL database
Our organization is able to offer a virtual developer opportunity for an individual or team of up to 4 computer science students. The primary focus areas for the student(s) will be: Dashboard views for our SQL database - Our blueButler software captures real-time VoIP (Voice over IP) call records that are stored in a SQL database and include call meta-data and associated CRM data as well as a link field to the recorded phone call and associated call tags (ie. categorizations). We provide Microsoft SQL drill-down reports with our software. We are able to provide a data descriptor that can be used to create dashboard representations of the data. The goal for this project is to demonstrate a working Prototype of a Dashboard that includes drill-down capabilities and trending statistics in the sandbox environment. Our virtual student(s) is expected to have the following tools: Windows 10 Pro Laptop or Computer .NET Visual Studio Knowledge of SQL database structures We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Gmail blueC Slack channels blueC VoIP system (Ring Central) Student's primary contact : Jeff McDonald, Senior Software Developer Secondary contact: John McDonald, CTO
Virtual Software Developer: Migrate .NET Client App to browser UI
Our organization is able to offer a virtual developer opportunity for an individual or team of 2 computer science students. The primary focus areas for the student(s) will be: .NET client app Migration to Browser UI - Utilize Blazer to migrate our existing blueButler .NET client to a browser UI. Set up a sandbox lab and use our Gitlab source code control to develop and deploy a Prototype Blazer version of our .NET app to the sandbox for testing. Verify that all current blueButler application functionality is maintained in the browser UI. Validate that all security permissions and restrictions are supported. The goal for this project is to demonstrate a working Prototype of the Blazer-migrated browser UI client in the sandbox environment. Our virtual student(s) is expected to have the following tools: Windows 10 Pro Laptop or Computer .NET Visual Studio Knowledge of browser UI requirements We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Gmail blueC Slack channels blueC VoIP system (Ring Central) Student's primary contact : Jeff McDonald, Senior Software Developer Secondary contact: John McDonald, CTO
Virtual Software Developer: Create a Customer Analytics Dashboard for blueButler

Virtual Software Developer: Migrate SQL database to SQL as a Service
Our organization is able to offer a virtual developer opportunity for an individual or team of 2 computer science students. The primary focus areas for the student(s) will be: Database Analysis and Migration - Research and choose a cloud-based SQL as a Service platform (eg. Google GCP). Migrate our existing Microsoft SQL multi-tenant Google GCP-hosted SQL database to the SQLaaS platform. Set up a sandbox lab to verify that all current blueButler application functionality is maintained. Investigate the processes and procedures required to create, update and access the platform; in particular, security permissions and restrictions. The goal for this project is to demonstrate a working prototype of the migrated SQL database in the sandbox environment. Our virtual student(s) is expected to have the following tools: Windows 10 Pro Laptop or Computer .NET Visual Studio Knowledge of SQL databases We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Gmail blueC Slack channels blueC VoIP system (Ring Central) Student's primary contact : Jeff McDonald, Senior Software Developer Secondary contact: John McDonald, CTO
