What is the main goal for this project?

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We want to expand our online training offering using a tool that's new to us, BrightSpace. We have delivered our training offerings in-person and with a live instructor on Teams/Zoom, but we believe there's an opportunity to build many of our courses without a live instructor. We need insights to help anticipate the ramp-up to commercialization and the best approach to go to market successfully with our new offering. Initial questions to brainstorm include, but are not limited to:

1. What is our target market? How do we position the training (and our company)?

2. How do we establish our brand: Build awareness, create relevance, acquire customers, and defend any early success?

3. Who are our closest competitors and how do we differentiate ourselves?

4. How can we organize our marketing around a "trigger" that creates urgency and makes timing for the offer perfect?

We also need insights into our training material itself and how it can be enhanced to align with best practices in online learning and adult education.

Our team, Barrington OPS, is a small team of six with Barrington Consulting Group that works very closely together with the goal of increasing private sector business for the company. We focus on Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and personal productivity. We're a small but diverse team of highly motivated individuals. You will love working with us because we love working with students. We're constantly experimenting with our services and trying new things. We almost always have a co-op student on our team and realize the insights and value that can come from students. You will have autonomy in your work and our team will always be available for advice and guidance as you go.
