Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal of this project is to build upon previous a Springboard UX/UI team's work based on their final report and recommendations for a a subscription-based SaaS platform solution for creative writers.

- Analyzing the research findings to inform the development of the prototype.

- Collaborating with the team to design and iterate and improve a prototype of the SaaS platform.

- Testing the prototype with potential users and iterating based on feedback.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Project Plan- Identify goals, milestones, and set a timeline for the project

Review requirements and existing designs- Familiarize themselves with the product goal and previous project work to understand the requirements, designs, and feedback that already exists, and to identify gaps to be filled in the next stage.

The list of specific tasks and activities will be taken directly from the previous team's recommendations and final report, but should generally include components such as:

UX research- based on recommendations from phase one and best practices for design process.

Design recommendations and iterations- design improved flows for the distinct user types. Workshop ideas and turn those into mockups to show how the (improved) solution could work. Iterate and test as time allows to bring your work to a higher level of fidelity.

Final deliverables:

Handoff all deliverables and findings in a package that allows for your work to be easily understood and incorporated into future projects.

- A final report summarizing the user research, prototype development process, and testing results.

- Presentation of the prototype and research findings to the team at Ink Bloom.
