Project Description: Welcome to Living In Silico Inc.! We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for talented students to contribute to our innovative project, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for chemical code


Main Goal:

The primary objective of this project is to test their coding. We want students to not only understand the significance of their contributions but also feel confident that the project is manageable within a realistic timeframe of 60 hours, spread over 2-8 weeks.

During this project, students will successfully utilize machine learning protocols to create predictions of image to text.

  • Scrape chemical information from pubchem and convert to SMILES format
