Details

Our organization is interested in addressing societal issues and supporting social causes. However, we are currently facing funding challenges.

We would like to collaborate with students to find and complete grant applications.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our vision statement and a project we have defined.
  • Developing a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.
  • Identifying potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.
  • Improving the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Identifying new opportunities for community projects.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our organization’s values and purpose
  • Understanding of the community project
  • Identification of potential sponsors and funding sources
  • Recommendations for improving our grant proposals

Bonus steps would include:

  • Defining new community projects with appropriate scopes

Final deliverables should include

  • A 10-minute presentation.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our mission and vision statement
  • Our community projects and previous grant applications
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

Parents Against Driving High (PADH) is a passionate advocacy organization dedicated to promoting responsible and safe driving habits, specifically addressing the issue of driving under the influence of substances. Comprising a community of concerned parents, PADH aims to raise awareness about the dangers and consequences of driving while impaired.

Our mission is clear: to empower parents with the knowledge and tools needed to engage in open and informed conversations with their children about the risks associated with driving high. We believe in fostering a safe environment for our youth by promoting responsible decision-making and discouraging any form of impaired driving.

PADH collaborates with educators, law enforcement, and community leaders to develop educational programs, resources, and campaigns that shed light on the impact of driving under the influence. Through our collective efforts, we strive to create a culture where safety on the roads is a shared responsibility, and every parent plays a crucial role in preventing impaired driving incidents.

Join Parents Against Driving High in advocating for a future where every young driver is well-informed, responsible, and committed to keeping our roads safe. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter, safer future for our communities.
