Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Today, inspoBoard is making it easier for small brands and agencies save ads from TikTok and Facebook Ad Library.

What is the solution? We want to create an app that allows users to install a chrome extension and save ads in TikTok and Facebook's Ad Library to our platform, where they can organize their ads by tags into "boards". Think Pinterest but for ads. We want to test out this MVP with our beta users.


We are looking to further refine our user research where students can help lead the end-to-end process of uncovering insight in order to deliver valuable product insights.


There are 3 main actionable outcomes of the project:

  • 1) Leverage your past research experience to create a methodology for identify the target audiences and coming up with a list of questions with intended product research goals.
  • 2) Find 3-5 agencies, direct-to-consumer brands, or even mid-market enterprise brands that use Meta Ad Manager that would engage in this research survey.
  • 3) Interview these stakeholders, by uncovering, synthesizing and communicating applicable findings and insights to the rest of the team (engineers, product managers, end users, and advisors)

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding the pain points of the individual use cases applicable to the product.
  • Find new ways to solve the problem and even understand if this is an industry wide problem to begin with
  • Recommend user flows that alleviate those problems and brainstorm other ideas to resolve
  • Develop a broad understanding of our industry and competitors

Final deliverables should include

  • A research report highlighting the methodology, approach, research analysis, and recommendations presented to the team
