Notes:

  1. Students & Instructors are encouraged to read & review our AFAQs.
  2. Please review student incentives post successful Project completion.

Scope:

- Listing all available non-fossil fuel based battery technologies

- Baselining current CFP** profile with conventional non-fossil fuel based battery technology

- Analyzing current gaps of non-fossil fuel based battery technology

- Assessing potential to leverage economy of scale across industry, national & global scope

- Implementing metrics for net CFP associated with such non-fossil fuel battery technologies

- Optimizing Investment-Payoff Model for manufacturers & public consumers

End Game: A Quantitative Comparison Matrix* of Net CFP associated with different sources of non-fossil fuel battery technology

*Pugh Matrix ==> A quantitative tool to compare options in a normalized manner

Here is a Pugh Matrix Template in MS Excel.

**CFP => Carbon Foot Print

Learners will be:

a - Populating a chart to quantitatively compare different sources of non-fossil fuel based battery technologies. Lithium, Sodium, Lithium Sulfide, Lithium Phosphate and other mineral based resources.

b - Generating a comparison matrix (a.k.a Pugh Matrix) including cost, process complexity, yield, availability, product lifetime, and other aspects toward lowering the CFP of the entire process from ore-to-battery.

c - Concluding the Project with a mathematical model to demonstrate multiple investment models relating to CFP reduction along with respective payoffs.

d - Recommending the maximum Payoff investment model for CFP reduction in the Automotive Battery industry.

Deliverables

Tasks to be executed:

- List all available non-fossil fuel based battery technologies

- Baseline current CFP** profile with conventional non-fossil fuel based battery technology

- Analyze current gaps of non-fossil fuel based battery technology

- Assess potential to leverage economy of scale across industry, national & global scope

- Implement metrics for net CFP associated with such non-fossil fuel battery technologies

- Optimize Investment-Payoff Model for manufacturers & public consumers

These are the activities that are needed to get done toward the math model for non-fossil fuel based battery technology investment and payoff model.

Mentorship

Team members at MGBS as well as "C" level executive per need.

Team and MGBS Inc. will decide frequency of meeting, length of meetings, effectiveness of meetings and most importantly escalation protocol of any issues coming from either side on a proactive and a constructive basis. Goal is to reduce meeting frequency and time and focus on meetings to celebrate milestone completion and lessons learned.

Top contributing factor for success is ability to escalate and collaboratively resolve to success and operate harmoniously as a TEAM.

As a business process improvement coach & consultant I worked with several corporations in different continents over 31 years. After a successful 6-year work experience at General Electric Corporation, I founded my company in 2000, and have been fortunate to successfully deliver in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, technology, transactional as well as service type environments. Having published scientific & technical articles, including authoring 5 US patents I released my book on Lean Six Sigma in 2011. I converse reasonably in Dutch, and Spanish, the skills of which I acquired during my consulting times. To date, the total annualized direct customer benefits have accrued to several hundreds of millions of dollars across the globe in more than 20 years. I enjoy outdoor activities, and meeting people. I am thankful to my mentor (s), past employers, and my professional network members without which most achievements would have been impossible.
