Expected outcomes and deliverables

Final deliverables include:

  • A Situation Analysis.
  • A Logo Design Proposal.
  • A Branding Guide.
  • A Fully-Functioning Responsive Website.
  • A Campaign Plan Book.
  • Communications Designs (ex. letterhead, business cards, etc.).

The student-consultant teams will pitch their campaign plan to your organization at the end of the semester. You may select a winner to utilize their design work.

Project Examples

Starting this August, a class of 12 Master's-level student-consultants will spend over 600 hours working in pairs to strategically refresh your organization's brand and online presence.

Pairs will be guided by strategic research and client feedback channels to deliver a suite of marketing and branding assets for your organization.

Student-consultants will complete the following:

  • Redesign an existing logo or create a new logo.
  • Develop branding materials.
  • Provide research data and insights.
  • Design and build a fully-functioning responsive website.

Example project niches include, but are not limited to:

  • Nonprofits.
  • Startups.
  • Service businesses with booking engines.
  • Hotels with online reservations.
  • Restaurants with online reservations.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Submit all content - text, photos, announcements - at the start of the project period.

Be available for student questions and clarifications including a design consultation

Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the students in-person or remotely (approximately 4-6 hours over the duration of the project).
